How many years of licence are needed?
Minimum age 25 and at least 3 years on a B licence. For drivers aged 21-24 a young driver supplement applies. For new drivers with less than 12 months on a licence the Mercedes 180d is not available (115hp exceeds the kW/t threshold for new drivers): we recommend the Fiat Panda Hybrid as an alternative.
How much does the 1.5 diesel 115hp consume?
From our fleet experience: 5.0-5.5 L/100km on the SS131 dual carriageway, 5.5-6.0 in mixed Costa Smeralda use. A 43-litre tank easily lasts 800-900 km. For a 7-day holiday with daily excursions (Olbia ↔ Porto Cervo, San Teodoro, Baja) you spend 60-80 € on diesel.

Absolutely not. The A-Class is a premium car designed for tarmac, with comfort-tuned suspension. On dirt tracks you risk damage to the underbody and to the low-profile tyres. For off-road coves use the Yamaha Raptor 700.
