Special Transport & Freight
Beyond tourist mobility, GDIS also operates in heavy transport. We handle freight transport, abnormal-load transport and boat transport. We work exclusively with our own qualified personnel (chauffeured services), using our fleet of HGVs, lorries, vans, trailers and semi-trailers.

Which documents do I need to rent a vehicle?
A valid driving licence, ID card or passport, and a credit card in the main driver's name. Customers from outside the EU also need an international driving permit.
Can I add a second driver?
Yes, you can add a second driver at the time of booking or at vehicle pick-up. The second driver must provide the same documents as the main driver.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before pick-up. For late cancellations a fee equal to 50% of the total rental cost applies.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. Payment is taken at vehicle pick-up. For online bookings a pre-authorisation on the card is required.
Are the vehicles covered by insurance?
All vehicles include third-party liability, theft and fire cover. You can purchase additional protection such as Kasko (full cover) and excess reduction.
Can I drop the vehicle off at a different location?
Yes, we offer one-way drop-off at different locations for a small surcharge. Contact us to find out which locations are available.
Do you offer VIP delivery to yachts and hotels?
Absolutely! Our VIP Delivery service brings the vehicle straight to your yacht, hotel or private villa anywhere in Costa Smeralda and Gallura.
